The part that matters to you
Your child is 13 to 19 and still growing. This page is what we will and will not do with them, written plainly, so you can decide before you pay for anything.
Six things we hold to
We never set a goal weight
Not for any athlete, at any age, for any sport. A number on a scale becomes a target, and targets around body weight are where trouble starts with teenagers. We work from performance, not appearance.
We do not cut food hard
Where an athlete has a reason to eat less, the reduction is capped at 400 calories below their daily requirement, and never below the energy their body needs at rest. Those are hard limits in how the programme is built, not guidelines we apply by feel.
Portions and timing, not counting
Fuelling guides are written in food, not spreadsheets. A teenager should not be weighing meals or logging every bite, and the guide is built so they do not have to.
Almost no supplements
Creatine monohydrate, whey protein and electrolytes. That is the entire list. All three are optional, none is required for the programme to work, and none goes to an athlete under 18 without a parent agreeing first.
Pain stops the movement
If an athlete reports pain that has not been cleared by a doctor or physiotherapist, every movement loading that area comes out of the programme and we tell you. We do not work around it quietly.
A coach reads everything first
Programmes and reports are drafted with the help of software we built, then read by a coach before anything is sent. Nothing reaches your child unreviewed.
Who signs, and for what
- Under 18: a parent or guardian gives consent before any programme is written
- 18 and over: the athlete signs for themselves
- An athlete who turns 18 mid-programme moves onto their own consent
- Consent covers health information specifically, not just the coaching
- You can withdraw it at any time, in writing, and we stop
What we hold
- Intake answers, weekly check-ins, and the programmes we write
- Health information about a minor is treated as special personal information under POPIA
- It is used to build and adjust the programme, and for nothing else
- It is never sold, and never shared with anyone outside coaching without your say-so
- You can ask to see everything we hold on your child, or ask us to delete it
The parent report
Written for you, not for the athlete. It leads with whether they actually did the work, because that is the honest measure of whether the money is doing anything.
Adherence first
How many sessions were completed, how many check-ins came back, and where the gaps were.
Then what changed
The story of the month in plain language, including anything we adjusted and why.
Then the numbers
Main lifts compared working week to working week, so a planned lighter week never reads as going backwards.
Know an athlete this suits?
Two minutes on a phone. Nothing owed either way.
